Wade & Associates Group Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to develop, support, and promote community outreach programs, cultural arts, entertainment, and educational initiatives. The foundation works to raise awareness, provide event and financial support, and create opportunities in areas where African Americans are often overlooked, fostering empowerment, representation, and inclusion.

The Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo (BPIR), celebrating its 42nd Anniversary, has been a longstanding platform for showcasing Black Country Music Artists during rodeo events across the United States. With the rise of the Black Country Music Artists, partnering with them is crucial. The Soul Country Music™ Star competition aims to provide talented Black Country Artists a national platform to break into the country music scene, diversifying the industry, and to discover the next Soul Country Music™ Star.

Soul Country Music Star Competition Show Host for 2026

Participant Categories:  We invite Black Country Solo Artists, Duets, and Groups, each to bring their unique country music talents to the competition stage.

 

Target Cities: In 2026, our search spans across vibrant cities including Memphis,  Dallas/Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Atlanta and DC/Maryland, providing opportunities for artists from various regions to showcase their skills.

 

Video Submissions: Contestants must submit a YouTube or Vimeo link of their audition for consideration, targeting the finals in their nearest city.

 

Online Selection: Esteemed judges from the music industry, along with local celebrity personalities, will evaluate each performance. Online votes and judges' evaluations will determine the top six (6) contenders in each market, ensuring a fair evaluation. 

 

Live City Competitions: The top six (6) contenders will compete in live (BPIR) events at selected venues in their chosen cities, adding suspense and excitement to the journey.

 

City Winners' Advancement: City Winners' Advancement: One winner from each city will progress to the final competition in Los Angeles in November to become the 2026 Soul Country Music™ Star.
